| I am installing a new wiring harness and voltage regulator on my 1937 120 club sedan. What is the process of making sure the generator is polarity positive. |

Mr. Phillips,
Thanks for the help. I found a tag in the box for the regulator with directions on how to polarize the generator. It was relatively easy and seems to work and is charging about 7.5 volts. I have had some people tell me that using an 8 volt battery will make everything on the car work better. I did purchase one and it seems to make the car start much better however, I have not hooked any lights yet. Can you tell me if there is any risk or concerns with using the 8 volt battery. |
